Certified and experienced sexuality educator for students with I/DD

Francis has over 12 years experience working with people with disabilities in educational, residential, and recreational settings. He began his career as a sexuality educator in 2017 when he designed a curriculum for young adults with disabilities in Seattle, Washington called Healthy Relationships.

His experience as a disability professional and his formal training in sexuality education make him an expert in helping disability professionals, school staff, and others break down barriers and better understand complex and taboo topics like gender and sexuality.

When he managed the Education team at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England he designed and facilitated workshops and trainings for professionals, parents and students of all abilities.

He is an AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapist) Certified Sexuality Educator whose work is grounded in principles of Disability Justice. Francis lives in Providence and teaches virtually and in-person in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
